Getting concerned about the Google’s new move of unified policy or not, both are valid. However, sometime it makes me think that, getting panic about the new policy is out of question. The fact that, Google has been collecting its user’s data for its own benefits is no longer hidden and it is not just only Google who’s been doing this. There are others who are involved in such activities. So, getting worried won’t solve the problem. The difference with new unified policy is that, now Google can use the collected information to tailor the advertisements as per user’s need. Which, I guess is not a new theory to be worry about.
